We provide Maryland storage units ranging from 25 square feet to over 300 square feet. Our managers can also combine units to meet your every self storage need. The majority of our Maryland storage customers take advantage of our month-to-month leases. However, we recognize that some customers will know that they need the self storage space for an extended period of time, and special arrangements are always available at Store It.
We always ask our customers for a minimum of two week’s notice prior to move out so we can make sure the unit is ready for the next customer.
All of our indoor Maryland storage units are 100% climate controlled, providing a temperature range of 50 to 85 degrees. Also, because all of our units are contained in a secure single building, you will not be exposed to heat, rain, snow or wind when you are managing your belongings.
Our Maryland storage facilities are protected by a state-of-the-art security system, including computer controlled coded security gates and video cameras on all floors, our office and the loading area. Only customers in good standing will have access to the self storage building. This protection even extends to the elevators, which restrict access to only those customers with units on that floor. You also can purchase a top quality lock for your unit in our retail area.
Each customer is responsible for insuring their own belongings. Your homeowners or renters insurance may provide coverage, but it is important to talk to your insurance agent to verify this protection.
Our self storage Rental Agreement makes it clear that customers cannot store items that would be considered flammable or hazardous. Please talk to one of our professional managers to make sure the items you need to store will be in compliance with the terms of your Rental Agreement.
Unfortunately, we do not have any spaces for vehicle storage at this time. One of our managers can provide you with a list of area locations that provide this service.
Office Hours are Monday to Friday 9:00am to 6:00pm, Saturday and Sunday 9:00am to 5:00pm. Access to the self storage site is possible during gate hours, which are from 6:00am to 8:00pm daily.
Although our employees cannot help you physically unload your items, we have a variety of complimentary carts available to make your move easy. In addition, we have established strong relationships with quality moving companies in the community that can provide assistance.
Our Reservation page can provide you all the information you need to reserve a new self storage unit online. Our managers also have the authority to reserve and hold a unit over the phone for your later inspection and approval.
Normally, we can reserve a self storage unit up to 30 days prior to your move-in date. If you have a special circumstance, please talk to one of our professional managers, and we can create a storage solution for you.
We accept all forms of payment, including checks, cash, and all major credit cards, including VISA, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. For your convenience, we also allow customers to have monthly payments automatically processed with a credit card, debit card or checking account.
