Holiday Giving and How You Can Help

What are the holidays all about for you? Spending time with family, helping those out who are less fortunate, or just having some time to relax are all possibilities. You may be even looking for a way to make the holiday season a little less stressful, and here at Store It, we can help! The storage units we have in Halethorpe MD can be excellent if you are looking for somewhere to be able to store all of your family’s gifts. Also, we can be a great place post-holiday season for storing all of your seasonal decorations.

Our Store It facility commemorates the holidays by giving back to the community with our yearly Halethorpe MD charity initiative. Being able to have an impact on those living in our community is why supporting a charity during this time of the year is so important to us. This year we are assisting Tots for Tots!

Toys for Tots History

With this organization staring back in 1947, it was the first to deliver toys to kids that were less fortunate. A Marine Corps Reserve named Bill Hendricks and his wife, Diane were the originators of Toys for Tots. This organization is linked to the Marine Corp Reserves and in 1991 it finally became recognized as a non-profit charity. Each year an average of 18 million toys are dispersed to 7 million less fortunate children. Help us in aiding Toys for Tots during our Halethorpe MD charity initiative!

How Can You Help?

1. Buy a new toy for either a boy or a girl.
2. Bring the new unopened toy to our Store It facility and drop it off in our Toys for Tots bin located in our main office by December 24, 2019.
